Progress on Building B

Richard's latest site visit took him to the second level of Building B, one of four low-rise buildings that make up The Henry's Final Stage.

From the balcony, the outlook is directly north over the oval. It's open, green, and genuinely quiet. The kind of view that photographs well but feels even better in person. Building B still has three levels to go. The structure is progressing steadily, and the team is pleased with where things sit at this stage of construction.

Building A is moving fast

Visible from Building B's balcony is Building A, already at level 3 with two more levels to go. Seeing both buildings rising together gives a real sense of the scale and the considered way the site has been laid out. The buildings are low-rise by design. The orientation, the spacing, the connection to green space. It all comes back to how the site was conceived from the beginning, with liveability at the centre of every decision.

A site worth seeing

The Henry Final Stage received the endorsement of the National Capital Design Review Panel. That recognition reflects what makes this development different from most retirement living options in Canberra. The design has been held to a high standard, and it shows when you're standing on site.

There are not many retirement villages in Canberra that can offer the same combination of peaceful outlook, green surroundings, and considered architectural design. Those qualities are genuinely difficult to communicate in a brochure or a render. Standing where Richard stood, looking north over the oval on a still morning, is a different experience entirely.

Where availability stands

Around 20% of the 78 Final Stage apartments are now sold. For anyone who has been watching from a distance, that is useful context. The Final Stage is the last release at The Henry. Once these apartments are gone, there will be no further opportunity to secure a home in this community.

Completion is on track for December 2027.
